Last Friday GM announced the decision to recall about 400 000 pickup trucks (Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon manufactured in 2004-2006).

The car recalls caused by brake lamps malfunction and cruise control failure. GM official representative said the company knows of no car accidents caused by the above defects.

Dealers will resolve the problem at no charge. It is interesting that initially GM has received a few warnings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (the latter has received a few complaints) before it announced the recall.
