Nissan has debuted the new 2007 Nissan Altima Hybrid. The car is actually a combination of Toyota’s hybrid technology and Nissan’s remade Altima sedan, so it is going to be sold in the “Green States” of California, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont. The car can appear to be the last in the line of Nissan’s hybrids, because Nissan and Toyota recently ended their hybrid technology agreement.
The Altima Hybrid will be a real treaure for those in the Green States who want more then just a hybrid sedans. Up to the present moment, you could choose between Toyota Camry and a Honda Civic Hybrid. From this time onanother car was added to this list: Nissan Altima Hybrid. That can be considered to be potentially big news, as the Altima Hybrid combines Toyota’s technology with Nissan’s new “D” platform, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and their new Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). Claimed as an Advanced Technology-Partial Zero Emissions auto, Altima Hybrid, however, offers V6-like performance with four-cylinder fuel economy at a reasonable price.
