The Moscow Autoshow unveiled long-awaited novelty by AutoVaz: Lada Kalina. At the moment the car is the best russian manufacturers have ever produced.

The car looks very similar to Opel Corsa. They say that the car was actually designed from the good example of Opel. No one knows wheater it is good or not. Well, we’ll see. The hatchback version is very similar to a sedan, all you can notice is changed rear lights and of course the 5th door. Front lights and bumpers are taken fron the sedan version.

The interior of the car is simple. Lada company promised to create a wider chioce of the interior materials and even to produce a version with an automatic transmission, but at the moment none of these promises came true.

The car comes with 2 variants of engines: both 1.6 litres. One possesses 89 hp, the max speed of 185 kmph, and speeds 0-to-100 in 11.5 seconds. The other’s engine max speed is by 15 kmph lower.
