Skoda Auto, which is a part of Volkswagen concern, tried not to let the interest about the premiere of the new Roomster go down. Thats’s why the company is planning to unveil the car’s commercial “twin”.

Praktik, which is planned to start selling in 2007 is a 2-seat auto built on the Roomster base with the dimensions: length - 1 555 mm, width - 1 016 mm, heigth - 987 mm. The capacity of the luggage section is quite big for the vehicles of this class: 1 783 litres.

The basic equipment includes ABS, 4 safety cushions (driver, passenger, 2 side cushions). In addition you can request anti-fog lights, navigation system, radio and telephone console and other systems. The saloon of the car is made from a new mud resistent material Fresh Onyx.

Skoda Praktik can carry up to 640 kg of cargo. The car comes with 2 petrol engines: 1,2 and 1,4 litres, and one diesel engine 1,4 litres.

The novelty is designed for small dealers, firms and for individual use. The car has controllability and comfort of a good sedan.
