After a long pause BMW eventually released the official photos and info on the new 3 series cabriolet.

For the first time in the history of the german manufacturer the car got a hard roof, which folds in 22 seconds. The car also got a revolutionary SunReflective surface. If spread over leather elements in a saloon it reduces the temperature by 20 degrees.

The hard roof gives the driver a better sight (by 38%) due to the greater size of the glasses with which it fits. When the roof is unfolded the capacity of the trunk is about 340 litres, and when it is folded - 209. The Back seats can be folded as well to enlarge the trunk.

For the european market BMW offers two engines. BMW 325i Convertible will get 218 hp engine and 335i Convertible - 300 hp 3,0 litre engine. Later the line of engines will be enlarged and a diesel engine will be added.
