The Radurra company unveiled a brand new working out - totally transparent car rims. The wheels itself have compound structure: the central parts is made from 5-sentimeter thick transparent polycarbonate, and the rim is made from metal. The manufacturer states that the new rims are not inferior in strength to average rims. Winding Road confirms that Radurra demonstrated a video clip where sport coupe Nissan 350Z equipped with the new rims is drifting. The only disadvantage of the novelty, the manufacturer mentioned, that they very quickly cover with dust from brake-chocks. Nevertheless some experts think that Radurra will have to solve quite a number of problems to start serial production of the rims. These problems include cooling brakes mechanisms alongside with the termic stability of the plastic parts of the rims, which can heat to very high temperatures.
