Toyota is conducting road tests of a new sport car Lexus LF-A and a compact SUV.
The prototype of the new 2-seat model is undergoing test in Nurnburgring. LF-A will compete with Audi R8, Nissan GT-R and Porsche 911. On the shots the car has triple exhaust pipes. LF-A will be equipped with V10 500 hp engine. The premiere of the car is going to take place at the Tokio motor show and the approximate cost is $ 100 000.
According to sources Lexus is working on a compact SUV (on Toyota RAV 4 base). The car is planned to compete with BMW X3. The vehicle may be equipped with a V6 3,5 or 2,5-litre engine.
