Nissan has introduced the 12th generation of Skyline.

It goes without saying that Skyline is a racing legend of all times. And a few days ago Nissan released the first official information about the 12th generation of the sedan Skyline, which will be traditionally sold only on the local market. The car is built on FR-L base and will get a new V6 3,5-litre engine.

New Skyline got 20 mm lower and 20 mm wider than his predecessor. The new car also differs by more expressive design, modernized cowling, new front lights and read end. The interior has been changed significantly as well: is made from new materials, and the front seats were lowered by 27 mm for more “sporty” feeling when driving.

Moreover the new Skyline will be equipped with unique driving system which controls the angle of turn not only for front wheels, but also for the back ones. This system, according to creators’ words, enriches the car’s maneuverability at small and middle speed.

The line of the engines includes 2 variants - 2,5-litre V6 225 hp, and a new 3,5-litre engine with 315 hp. The car is equipped with a 5-grade automatic gear-box.

The cost of the new Skyline will be around $ 23 000. It is planned that 1000 cars will be sold per month.
