“TorgMash” completed a tuned version of the Russian car Lada Kalina, which got a new name - Kalina GTI. The car will be available in a couple of variations.

A little earlier I wrote about launching Kalina into serial production, and now you see it is already a tuned vehicle. It seems that the main car’s peculiarity is a 1,8-litre 161 hp atmospheric engine, which was built on the base of the serial engine. The dynamic features of the car haven’t been published yet, but the creators say that the maximum speed is about 220 kmph.

Beside engine Kalina GTI has new suspension kit (using KW shock-absorbers and springs), more powerful antiroll bars and brakes system. Kalina GTI has a developed gear-box.

It will be not very difficult to distinguish the new Kalina - the car has a unique aerodynamic body kit with aggressive front and rear bumpers and a huge spoiler on the root. Moreover the car got outside-air intake and stylish 16-inch rims with 205/50 tires.

The “TorgMash” officials state that they are ready to get individual orders for such cars. The cost of the car is still yet unknown.
