At the International Detroit Auto Show which will take place in January 2007 Chrysler will show a concept car under the name Nassau. The press-release says that the novelty will be a “luxurious 4-door 4-seat coupe”. ![]() It should be mentioned that last year the company showed a preproduction car under the name Nassau, and in substance it was a prototype of the new version of Chrysler 300c, which later on went into the serial production. And in the 60s of the previous century a serial full-size coupe was called Nassau. Concept cars are very popular not only with huge and widely known American or European companies, but also with not so widely famous Chinese manufacturers. To tell you the truth they do not always look like something worth buying. Chrysler 300c

The new concept, the impression of which you can acquire from the official sketch, that was published this week, is probably a prototype of the new serial model. Nassau will be built on either Chrysler 300C or on Mercedes CLS’s platform. Anyway the first official information about the car will appear only in January 2007.
