9ff built the fastest cabrio in the world. ![]() The German tuning company 9ff which is famous throughout the world for its extreme Porsche versions set a new world record: a cabrio, specially tuned by the company’s specialists, got the title “the fastest in the world“. While tuning companies do their best to beat world records, Porsche makes huge steps forward creating the first 4-door car. The Germans took Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet to the Nardo track (South Italy). It is clear that the car was quite out of ordinary Porsche 911: they did their best to give 780 hp to the 6-cylinder engine, which now accelerated the car from 0 to 100 in less than 4 seconds. And in 20 seconds the speedometer shows 300 kmph. However, this speed doesn’t seem so high if compared to the maximum - 380,5 kmph. Nobody has ever reached such speed in a cabriolet. Although the car was equipped with a hard top optional for cabrio 911. It was made to lessen the wind resistance. It should be pointed out that reaching such speed in an open cabrio seems almost impossible. 9ff, Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet, car tuning, world recort, the fastest cabrioler, cars, auto, vehicles Technorati Tags: 9ff, Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet, car tuning, world recort, the fastest cabrioler, cars, auto, vehicles Bookmark - BlinkList - del.icio.us - Digg it - Furl - ma.gnolia - RawSugar - Shadows - Simpy - Spurl - Yahoo MyWeb Related Posts:Porsche Cayenne Included into Guinness World Records Book Porsche CayenneFirst 2007 BMW 3-Series Cabriolet Spy Photo Volkswagen EOS Coupe Cabriolet
