McLaren got down to creating a new compact model which will soon find its niche in the line of McLaren’s vehicles.

Spy photographer have recently caugth a glimpse of Ferrari F450 Challenge Stradale

At the moment the engineers are testing the first prototype of the car on the secret Mercedes track in Germany. It is thought that McLaren will produce the body parts for the car from carbon, though this material makes the economical expediency very doubtful, because the expected cost of the new McLaren is 150 000 euro.

The new model seem to have a standard coupe formula - 2 seats, nevertheless it is possible that there will appear a third seat in the back.

Mercedes SLS McLaren will compete with Ferrari 360 Modena, Lamborghini Gallardo and the new Audi R8.
