At Los-Angeles Auto Show the Japanese company Mazda showed a concept car of unearthly beauty - Nagare. The car belongs to the line of car with futuristic design by Mazda. This line also includes Sassou concepts (showed in 2005 in Frankfurt), Senku (showed in 2005 in Tokio), Kabura (showed in 2006 in Detroit). Nagara will hardly ever be a serial vehicle, in contrary Mazda2 will soon be available on the market. Here are Mazda2 spy photos. ![]()
Nagare, which means “Stream“, is a new conception by Mazda. The car has exceptionally sporty appearance. The access to the insights of the car is realized through two long doors, which open upwards. The driver seat is situated in the middle of the car while in the back there are three passengers’ seats. Under the cowling there is a rotary engine which uses hydrogen. “Nagare - is a model of proportionality, which will be developed in all the vehicles to come” - said Laurens van den Acker, the new executive director of Mazda’s designer’s headquarters.
