On the 30th of November in Essen the world saw the premiere of the new version of VW Passat - VW Passat R36. The car has a 300 hp V6 engine, which makes the car the fastest Passat ever.

The “hottest” VW Passat will be available in two bodies - sedan and universal. Technically both cars are the same. But the sedan accelerates from 0 to 100 in 5,6 seconds, and the universal - in 5,8 seconds. The maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 kmph.

A special subdivision makes sport version of VW autos. It is called “VW Individual“. It is planned that the majority of company’s models will soon get sport versions with “R” nameplate.
