Audi showed a new Audi A4 cabrio with 4WD and V6 diesel. This combination - cabrio with a diesel - shouldn’t scare you, though a couple of years ago it would have been simple impossible. It was hard to endure the noise of the engine and smell the fuel. But due to the modern technologies, the new engine brings pure pleasure.

The electro engine folds the roof in 21 seconds. This operation can be carried out at 30 kmph by pressing a button. The peculiar thing is that the radio and conditioner work depends on the position of the roof by relying on the most used previous settings. In spite of expectations, even at high speed you feel quite comfortable insight the car. Such comfort is mostly created by an air screen behind the back seats. 

In contrary to the cabrios with a hard top, which are gaining popularity at the moment, the A4’s rear end is done in the same way as the sedan version, because the roof doesn’t need much free space. When folded the roof takes only 69 liters of 315 liters of the car’s root capacity.

The saloon is done as a mixture of chrome and high-quality plastic. The sports seats deserved special praise. Though they don’t have electric regulations, many people will like the foldable bag for hips. The back seats are planned for 2 persons, but they can easily carry 3 passengers.

Driving Audi A4 cabrio with a 3-litre V6 turbo diesel provides pure pleasure. The acceleration to 100 takes 7,3 seconds, and the max speed is 242 kmph. 4WD allows even an inexperienced driver to feel comfortable on dry terrain, and profis can turn off ESP system and get adrenalin from driving the car.

An excellent turbo diesel V6, 4WD, perfect ride performance, quiet and luxurious saloon can please even the most fastidious man. Nevertheless Audi A4 Cabrio is not very cheap: in Europe the car costs more than 50 000 euro.
