Auto spies caught the prototype of Dodge crossover, which at the moment is known under the code name JC49. The car is built on the base of the latest Chrysler Sebring (Dodge Avenger will be built on the same platform). In spite of the camouflage it is evident that the novelty has lots of features typical of Dodge. The radiator bars resembles Avenger, the front lights - Nitro, red and white edging - Charger.

The car will mainly compete with Ford Edge, Toyota Highlander. The crossover will be manufactured on the Mexican DaimlerChrysler plant in Toluka. The car is due to be officially released at the beginning of 2008. The cost of the car in the USA will be around $ 20 000.
