The root of the new Audi TT Roadster is by 30 l bigger, than that of the previous generation. And it is not the only advantage. The folding/unfolding operation is performed automatically, takes 12 seconds and can be carried out under 48 kmph. Though Audi TT Roadster is less aluminum than the coupe (steel/aluminum ratio - 69/31% vs 58/42%), nevertheless the 4WD version with a 3,2-litre 250 hp V6 engine is by 90 kg lighter than the same version of the roadster of the previous generation. And the acceleration to 100 is faster (6,1 vs 6,7 seconds). The max speed is the same (electronically limited to 250 kmph). The supercharged 2,0-litre FSI version accelerates to 100 kmph in 6,7 seconds (with the average 6-grade gear-box) or in 6,5 seconds (with the S tronic gear-box). The max speed is 237 kmph. Audi TT Roadster will be available in Europe in Spring 2007.

Unlike the coupe version Audi TT Roadster has only 2 seats. And the interior quality is as always at its best.

It should be mentioned that Audi TT was named Best Coupe of the year earlier this year.
