A few days ago the first yet not official photos of the new concept by Jaguar leaked over the Internet. The car will be unveiled in Detroit. The concept is a prototype of the brand new generation of S-Type model, which will get both new chassis and name - Jaguar XF.

Judging by the shots the concept differs significantly form the existing serial models. The car got narrow front lights, which form the aggressive outlook, new radiator grille - almost rectangular with obvious fillets in the lower pars, and the original design of the rear end of the body with the developed run-out under the bumper. Moreover Jaguar XF resembles more a 4-door coupe than a sedan.

As was reported before, the new XF is built on the modernized platform of the first generation, and unlike the aluminum Jaguar XJ and XK, it will get a steel body. The premiere of the novelty is to take place in the second half of 2007, and it will be available at the dealers not earlier than March 2008.
