Auto spies caught the new generation of the sport-coupe BMW M3 at a race track in Germany.

The world premiere of the car is to take place this year, though the exact date hasn’t been announced. The car will be available at the dealers’ show-rooms not earlier than 2008.

According to the unconfirmed data the novelty will be equipped with a 4,0 or 4,2-liter engine with around 420 hp.
