Ford got down to testing the new generation of Ford Mustang on the road - spy photos of the prototype have leaked over the Internet recently. According to the shots the new Mustang will get a new design of the front end of the body.

A couple of experts suppose that the new Mustang may feature some of the designer’s elements of the concept Ford Mustang by Guigiaro. The car was shown in Los-Angeles in 2006, and they say that the new serial Mustang will feature the shape of the concept’s front wings, widened back wheels arches, modernized cowling and the general style of the front bumper. At the same time the radiator grille and the shape of the front lights will remain unchanged.A couple of remakes will be made in the car’s interior and in it’s technical features - but which ones hasn’t been announced.

The premiere of the new Mustang is to take place in either the second half of 2007 or at the beginning of 2008. The car will be available at the dealer’s showrooms in 2009.
