mazda-hakaze.jpgMazda has spread the first official data about the new concept car, which is the successor of the two previous concepts Nagare and Ryuga. The novelty - C-class sport crossover - has been given the name Hakaze.

The new crossover is done in the new Mazda’s style - so-called “stream design“. Its key features are multiple curved lines, which are present in Hakaze’s front end, sides and rear end. Moreover the car has got a unique sand coloring - the designers claim they wanted the novelty to resembles a sand dune.

The size of the car is slightly bigger than that of the hatchback Mazda3 (15 mm longer, 135 mm wider, 95 mm higher). The crossover is equipped with a removable glass roof, the central body stand is missing. Hakaze is equipped with a supercharged petrol 2,3-liter, 6-grade mechanical gear-box and 4WD.The date of the world premiere hasn’t been announced yet. The only thing that is known is that the debut of the car is going to take place some when in 2007. It is likely that Hakaze will be unveiled in Geneva.
