The French company Renault is planning to show the powerful version of the hatchback Megane Sport dCi at the international auto show in Geneva.

The car is equipped with a supercharged 2.0-liter diesel with 175 hp. The 0-100 kmph acceleration takes 8,5 seconds, and the max speed is 217 kmph. The fuel consumption is around 6,5 liters per 100 km.

The base is the same as that of Renault Megane Sport 225, and another version of suspension is available: stiffer sport “Cup” suspension, which comes as an option.

It is expected that the car’s sales kick off right after the premiere, and the car will be available in 2 versions of body - 3 or 4-door. The cost of the novelty will be around $ 25 000.
