In Geneva the Italian design-studio Bertone showed a concept built on the platform of Fiat Panda. The car is a present for the 95th anniversary of the company. The novelty is a 2-seat roadster, the design resembles the classic Italian sport cars of the 50s. Bertone Barchetta was built to commemorate Fiat 500, the car Nuccio Bertone made for himself to participate in the races. The concept is equipped with a 16-cylinder 1,4-liter engine with 100 hp and 6-grade mechanic. The 0-100 kmph acceleration takes 9,5 seconds. The collaboration between Fiat and Bertone has been going on for over 80 years now. During this period of time the companies have created a number of successful serial cars and concepts: Fiat 850 Spider (it was shown in Geneva in 1965), 2-seat X1/9 with targa body, Punto Cabrio (in 1993 was the cheapest cabriolet in the world).
