Ford plans to show the new Ford Flex crossover in New-York

Ford Motors officials claim that the new concept will inherit a couple of the Fairlane concept’s features (Fairlane was shown 2 years ago in Detroit). Flex is expected to replace Mercury Monterey and Ford Freestar in the model line of the company. The technical features haven’t been announced yet.

The serial production of Flex is to start in 2008. The company will built 100 000 per year. The novelty will be manufactured in Oakville in Canada.
