Ad honorem the 60s anniversary, Ferrari has announced the release of the exclusive series of 612 Scaglietti Sessanta, which will be built on 60 copies.

The key differences from the basic model include 19-inch rims, more aggressive radiator grille design, chrome exhaust, “612 Sessanata” nameplates, and of course the paintwork of the body which is offered only in two colors: black and grey. As for the interior, it is supplied with rear-view camera, all-leather brown integration, glass roof and powerful Bose audio system.

The engine has been left unchanged. It is the same old 5.7-liter 540 hp engine which is able to accelerate the car from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.2 seconds and enables the max speed of 315 kmph.

The design studio Edo Competition decided to develop the visual form and performance of a fresh Italian supercar Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, which by all the factors wasn’t an easy task. Still to my mind they brilliantly succeeded.

The basic 640 hp and 660 Nm of torque wasn’t enough for Edo engineers. That’s why they decided to add power. The specialists re-programmed the software of the electronic control system, added sport collectors, special catalysts and modernized sport filter, which enabled to get 663 hp from the 6.5-liter engine. The max torque has been increased to 675 Nm, all these measures enable the 0-100 kmph acceleration in 3.3 seconds and the max speed of 340 kmph.

As an extra feature comes a powerful remotely controlled exhaust system with the possibility of changing the sound timbre. It is a matter of taste: if you want louder - you get it, but if you want more aggressive sound - no problem as well.

As for the dynamics, the rear end of the car is equipped with a huge wing with a small aerodynamic lip.

As for the interior, you can imply your fantasy. The company offers all-leather integration with suede, carbon and aluminum elements. Moreover the car is equipped with a costly audio system, which will make you feel the chick of the tuned vehicle coupled with inimitable Italian style.

The British Institution of Insurance Research has published the list of the vehicles which are hard to theft in the UK. One of the nominations went to Volvo for the new multimedia system Personal Car Communicator. The British valued Citroen high for the new anti-theft system (if stolen the car automatically shows its position to the police). Still the top of the list is occupied by Audi.

The theft rates in the UK are constantly decreasing. The tempo of the decrease is quite high - in 2006 the number of thefts decreased by 8%.

Hard-to-thieve vehicles in the UK:
