The British Institution of Insurance Research has published the list of the vehicles which are hard to theft in the UK. One of the nominations went to Volvo for the new multimedia system Personal Car Communicator. The British valued Citroen high for the new anti-theft system (if stolen the car automatically shows its position to the police). Still the top of the list is occupied by Audi.

The theft rates in the UK are constantly decreasing. The tempo of the decrease is quite high - in 2006 the number of thefts decreased by 8%.

2. Compact family car - Citroën C4 Exclusive

3. Middle-class car - Peugeot 407 Executive

4. Premium-class car - Lexus IS

5. Compact wagon - Citroën C4 Picasso Exclusive

6. Wagon - Ford S-Max

7. Cabriolet/roadster - Audi TT Roadster

8. Sport sedan - Audi S8

9. Compact SUV - Nissan X-Trail

10. Full-scale SUV - Audi Q7

11. Business-class car - Citroen C6

12. Premuim-class sedan - Mercedes-Benz S-Class
