![]() Mitsubishi unveiled Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback concept in Frankfurt In 2005. Furthermore, the company is getting ready to launch the model into series production in 2008. Frankly speaking, there isn’t much info on the forthcoming premiere available at the moment. Still there are a few photos of the car and some data on the engines. The car is expected to be equipped with 2 petrol and a diesel engines in 2008. The petrol engines include 1.5-liter with 110 hp and 1.8-liter with 144 hp. The diesel is a TDI PD 2.0-liter with 140-hp (taken from VW). As for the transmission, the range is quite wide: automatic, 5- or 6-grade mechanic, and CVT gear-box.
