Frankfurt Motor Show is one of the biggest auto forums in Europe. As a rule it is dominated by the German manufacturers as BMW, Mercedes, Porsche. These companies use the show to show and promote the new models and impress the audience with brand-new concepts and prototypes.

At the same time, the size of the show allows other car manufacturers from all over the world show their new models. This year’s show won’t be an exception: there will be many world premieres. I am going to describe a few of the most peculiar concepts which are planned to be shown in Frankfurt.

Cirtoen C-Cactus Concept

The new concept by the French designers is equipped with ultra-economical hybrid-diesel engine. The car possesses a light body and European exterior. The promoters expect the car be especially attractive to young ladies.

In general, fuel economy is one of the logos of the forthcoming auto show, which was fully realized in both the construction of the body and engine of C-Cactus. It is equipped with 70-hp HDi engine and 30-hp electro-engine. This enables the max speed of 150 k.p.h. Power transition is realized through a 5-gear automatic. In the city mode the car is moved by the electro-engine only which makes the fuel consumption incredibly low – 3.4 l per 100 km.

In spite of the economical approach, the designers didn’t forget about all the possible gadgets to make the driver feel comfortable. The car has automatic climate-control, audio system and sensor display. The steering-wheel was equipped with lights, horn, inner lightning system control buttons. But he most peculiar feature of the car’s interior is the ignition key as a small MP3-player inserted into a socket in the center of the steering wheel.

Peugeot Flux

The concept has been designed by a Romanian student Michaj Panajtesku.
The official rewarding of the winner traditionally took place in Geneva. Michaj was awarded the first prize and $6000 grant plus the possibility to show his concepts in the game “Project Gotham Racing 4″ for Xbox.

Now a few words about prototypes and exclusive models

Fiat Grande Punto SS

SS stands for Super Sport. The car is built on the platform of Grande Punto Abath and is equipped with an upgraded 1.4-liter with 180 hp plus astonishing optics and a body-kit. As for the flawless dynamics, the car is supported by a stiffer suspension, sport braking system and exclusive rims of the size appropriate to the wide tires.

Novitec Rosso Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

The tuner Novitec will unveil one of the most exclusive supercars in its line Novitec Rosso Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano.

According to Novitec and the big-boss Wolfgang Hagedorn in particular, the tuning-kit is shown on its basic level. But lets see what does this basic level mean. It means power increase from 620 to 645 hp and 642 Nm. The peculiar feature is the empty-pipe exhaust system with special catalysts which end up in 4 90-mm chrome nipples.

Moreover the tuner offers a body-kit with an anti-wing, modified suspension (a few settings modes) with the clearance decreased by 40 mm, powerful braking system with 400-mm plates and 21-inch rims with the front 275/30 and rear 355/25 tires.

As for the interior, the tuner talks about individual approach towards each customer.
