The Danish company Kleemann specializes in tuning and styling solutions for Mercedes-Benz. In order to show its potential the Danish men have created the brand-new Kleemann GTK concept (built on the platform of SLK 55 AMG) for the auto show in Las-Vegas.

The development program by Kleemann as a rule do not offer a lot of changes of the basic versions. As a rule a small but stylish body-kit enables to recognize the object of tuning. The “filling” is as well changed only a little by the specialists as they follow the motto “Comfortable power.”

But this time they have made up something highly explosive and very much different to the previous project by the company. The power of the V8 was increased to 540 h.p. The torque was enhanced to 700 Nm. Such an increase has been enabled owing to the compressor of the company’s design and a number of other innovations. Could you imagine how all these introductions have affected to reserve of the engine? On the other hand, the extreme fans ready to pay 120 000 euro for the novelty hardly care for the reserve.

The car is now able to reach 300 kph and accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in 3.7 seconds. By the way, the power is transmitted via 7-gear automatic transmission AMG Speedshift. The basic SLK 55 AMG accelerates to 100 kph in 4.9 seconds and the max speed is 250 kph. It is no wonder as the basic 5.5-litre engine makes 360 hp. and 510 Nm.

The braking system of the concept is able to resist the incredible power of the car. The car is equipped with 380-m plates and 8-piston supports.

It goes without saying that the car is a peculiar one. But unfortunately the mass production of the concept isn’t included into the recent plan of the company. The concept’s major goal is to see the reaction of the audience. Nevertheless, it is not inconceivable that the solutions implied in GTK will be used by Kleemann in the forthcoming development programs
