The inevitable occurred! The new 10th generation of Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution has been officially unveiled and will be available in 2008.

The new generation of Evo was made even more expressive – in terms of the body which features the aggressive front view with spoilers and air-intakes, rear end with huge spoiler. The aggressive style as if claims to “kill the competitors.”

Under the cowling of the new Evo there is a supercharged 2.0-liter with 280 h.p. and 422 Nm. The car is equipped with 5-grade mechanic with the Twin Clutch SST system. The new Evo is 4WD with 18-inch rims and 245/40 tires.

As for the braking system, Mitsubishi engineers counted on the specialists – the company Brembo – so the car is equipped with powerful 18 and 17-inch braking plates.

The interior features Recaro sport seats, leather and aluminum elements and a high-performance multimedia system with 30 Gb hard disk and 7-inch display. Moreover, the car has front and side air-bags and a special air-bag for the knees of the driver.

The Pricing

In Japan Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X will be available in 3 variants: from 18 000 to 23 000 euro. The European model (which, as was already mentioned, will be available only in 2008) will cost around 25 000 euro.
