A few days ago a strange Toyota Corolla was spotted at an exhibition. From the distance of a dozen meters it looked like a poorly made 3D model without textures. But if one got closer to the model he would be able to realize that the car is made of wire. Nevertheless, if you try to make its image with your mobile device, your friends will most definitely say: “Oh! What a poor 3D!” The Toyota’s author’s name is Benedict Radcliffe. This British artist made an extraordinary car for Toyota. However, Corolla isn’t the first Radcliffe’s wire car. Everything started from this supercharged Subaru Impreza. Pay your attention to the Yokohama racing tires.
For instance, in March Radcliffe created a wire version of Subaru Impreza. They say that when the author parked its novelty on the street in front of the gallery, the local cops didn’t like the joke and fined … no one knows who. After that, the artists returned to his lab to create a nuclear bomb for the cops, a wire bomb, of course. Toyota Corolla carries out advertising functions – it is being shows at various automotive exhibitions.
The wire Lambo will definitely overtake its opponents as it has an engine with 2 man power.
The British man didn’t stop after these 2 vehicles. His latest invention - Lamborghini Countach. In contrast to the previous models this car can actually move. In collaboration with Ben Wilson they equipped Lambo with a steering wheel and pedals (which are naturally must be turned with the help of one’s legs). Thus the two authors traveled to the art-car parade in Manchester in their car. This is an ordinary car with an extraordinary body.
Still there are full openwork vehicles, for instance, Volkswagen Beetle. It has a real engine, chassis and interior, but the body is made from wire. I’m absolutely sure that not a single cabrio will match the impressions of driving such a car.
