Lincoln MKS - a luxury by Ford will not appear earlier than 2009
Very interesting material is awaiting all the fans of the American autos in Los-Angeles. The show is expected to feature the serial version of the lavish flagman Lincoln MKS, the appearance of which on the north American market is due in 2009.
Let me remind to you that the “path” to the series was made in 2007 when the concept MKR was shown in Detroit. The previous variant was equipped with 415-hp V6 engine with the system of double supercharger and could work on the alternative fuel - ethanol.
As for the current serial version it was slightly changed. The car got 3.7-liter V6 supercharged with 280 hp and 360 Nm of torque. The car is equipped with a 6-grade automatic and 4WD.
The saloon is impressive. The designers decided to please the audience and offered a basic filling with a mega-multimedia system, THX sound system, central computer and navigation with voice mode, phone, “Bluetooth” option and adaptive lightning.
Moreover, Lincoln MKS got two outer cameras (one at the front end and one at the rear one) and 18-inch rims. As quite a cheap option come 19 and 20-inch ones.
The release of the exuberant flagman is planned in 2009. The novelty will cost from $38 000 in the USA.
