Gemballa experts have showed the 800-hp Avalanche GTR 800 This time the novelty by Gemballa is the most exclusive variant of the model Porsche Turbo 997 which was simply called - Avalanche GTR 800 EVO-R. The core of Avalanche GTR 800 is the modified 3.8-liter 800-hp turbo power unit (the serial version – 480 hp) with the max torque of 950 Nm and tuned transmission, which is able to accelerate the car to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and reach 330 km/h. The recipe for the “steroid” is the following: modernized admission system, high-performance pistons and cylinders, powerful exhaust system with sport catalysts and collectors, huge turbo-ladder. The seconds step to success- Carrera GT-like body-kit with the familiar front, wide wheel arches, channels, huge carbon rear anti-wing and a dozen “air-pockets” all over the body. The exclusivity and novelty is underlined by a special varnishing – black and white. As for the dynamics of Avalanche GTR 800 EVO-R, the tuner installed a stiff suspension with low clearance, high-performance braking system with ceramic 20-inch plates and wide tires. The interior – carbon in leather or vice versa. All in all the tuner offers a few finishing variants where the major components are carbon, leather, alcantara and aluminum. The prices for the novelty haven’t been announced yet.
Concept Cars That Never Went into Series: Nissan, Suzuki, Bertone, EDAG
Idries Omar has amazed the automotive audience once again with his concept of a supercar based on Ferrari genes. Ferrari F250 Concept is a look ahead. According to the words of the author the number “250″ in the name of the car came from the legendary model Ferrari 250 GTO, and the design – the invention of the author, but, of course, not without following the natural lines of the actual lines of Italian “beauties”. As for the power train, Omar has stated, that he sees it possible to equip his creation with a 2.5-liter V6 power unit (that works on bio-fuel) with 250 hp, which will be quite enough as the body of the car is planned to make of a special carbon light-alloy, and the frame – from aluminum. To cut the long story short the car will be light and fast. But at the moment all the plans are drafts and slight PR-action for the novelty. What is the new project planned for is not quite obvious yet. So lets wait and see.
