When I search the Internet for interesting ideas for my posts, I often come across such inventions that I cannot even classify. The same with cars, I’ve come across so many car-like objects that it could have already driven me crazy. But it didn’t, more than that, I decided to make up a list of MOST ABSURD VEHICLES EVER:

1. To my mind the unreserved leader of the list is the van from the movie “Dumb & Dumber.” In this van the heroes of Jim Carry and Jeff Daniels traveled around. By the way, the is based on the all-time Hollywood hit – 1984 Ford Econoline.

2. To tell you the truth, brandmobiles are the stupidest invention of the humankind. The companies are ready to transform a good car into god knows what. The second place goes to the Phone car built on the base of the 1975 VW Beetle

3. The leader triad is completed by another brandmobile - Mini Cooper Red Bull.

4. May be Italian car cannot boast the German reliability, but the Italians cannot be called styleless. Is it really so? Each rule has an exeption. This time it is the extraordinary Fiat Multipla. The car has such an ugly exterior that even the creators didn’t accept it. Though the second generation of the model got a better look.

5. The 5th place goes to Peel P50 – the smallest serial car even produced on the Earth. The “baby” is 1220 mm long and 915 mm wide and high. The car weights 59.4 kg. The car was produced on the isle of Man between 1962 and 1965. There existed 3 body colors: Dragon Red, Daytona White and Capri Blue. The car totally lacked devices, and there was no need for ones as it was unable to even reach the governmental speed limits.

6. The 6th place is occupied by a Bavarian with Italian roots – the legendary BMW Isetta. This intricate small car helped the Bavarian company get to its feet after WWII. The extraordinary exterior of the car created the joke that the car was built by placing two scooters side by side and attaching to them a small refrigerator on the top.

7. The 7th place is occupied by Volkswagen New Beetle. This google-eyed hatchback pleased my mind by the most sophisticated gadget ever – a flower vase near the dashboard.

8. Next to the Beetle is another Wolfsburg citizen: Lupo. This small car with “dog-like eyes” unfortunately is not produced any more.

8. The 9th position is taken by a “French Smart” - Ligier Nova. I would say that the car looks like a toy.

10. I don’t have anything against Daewoo, but the sight of Daewoo Nexia makes my laugh to tears.

If you are an owner of one of the above mentioned cars don’t get upset. Your car might not as impressive as a Lambo on the road, but at least it caused people’s smiles. It is great, isn’t it?
