The Japanese company Suzuki Motor Corp. stated the recall of 119 000 cars. The company claimed that the reason for it is a possible fault of a front passenger safety bag.

Suzuki recalls the models Swift, Wagon R, Solio, Cruise and NM built between March 2003 and September 2006. 

It is not mentioned whether the cars, which are recalled, were sold overseas.

Recently Fiat recalled 20 000 Grande Punto.

Fiat stated the recall of 21 000 Grande Punto. The compact cars with faults were sold in the UK. The specialists found out that the cars hadn’t been equipped with metal plate under the wheel, which secures the driver’s knees in case of an accident.

The company’s officials promised that installing the plate will take about half an hour and will be absolutely free.

A little bit earlier BMW stated the recall of its 5-series.

BMW officially stated the recall of 22 500 cars of 5-series in the universal body, which were built between September 1995 and July 1996.

The problem is the fault of the ignition blocker, which can lead to the blocking of the wheels in motion. So far, there hasn’t been any accidents due to the faultiness, nevertheless the owners of the cars are strongly recommended to undergo free diagnostics at BMW survive centers.
